How Cold Is It?

Hello there readers. I am still in the UK at the moment but have booked a flight with Quantas for the 30th of January. It will land in Sydney on the 1st of February, Australian time, where I will be spending a few days with friends before making my way to Geelong. Still, that is a few weeks away as yet which means I have got to put up with the freezing English weather for a little while longer, and boy is it cold. I would imagine that even a wooly mammoth would want a holiday away from this weather front. Brrrrrrrrrr!

Apart from dealing with the Arctic conditions, there hasn’t been much else to do except admire the little pieces of paper in our passports that we’ve been trying to get for the past 18 months. Finally, the visas are in our passports and we can officially start our lives down under. Happy, and some sad, times ahead of us now. The Cassons can’t wait for it to begin.
